City to maintain edge over Spurs

127

Tottenham’s super new stadium hosts its first Champions League game tonight but Manchester City are unlikely to follow the script.

City to win and both to score @ 11/5

Spurs’ wait finally ended as they beat Crystal Palace 2-0 last Wednesday and they have had the best part of a week to prepare for this game.

In contrast, City were in FA Cup semi-final action on Saturday and did just about enough to a book a return to Wembley by beating Brighton 1-0.

The Citizens have won the last four meetings between these two, including a 1-0 win at Wembley earlier in the season.

This marks the first of three games in quick succession between the pair and City can make a winning start to their trilogy.

Liverpool to win to zero @ 20/21

In the other quarter-final tonight, Liverpool should be far too good for Porto at Anfield.

The Reds won 5-0 when these two met in Portugal last year and had no issues when the pair drew 0-0 on Merseyside.

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 14 matches in all competitions and have never lost to tonight’s opponents.

That run is unlikely to be ended this evening and back them to avoid conceding an away goal on what should be a comfortable night.
