Tigers to take down Airlie Birds

229

Castleford Tigers will look to continue their search for a long-awaited piece of major silverware when they travel to Hull FC in the Challenge Cup on Friday.

Runners-up back in 2014, it was 1986 the last time Castleford lifted the famous trophy but Daryl Powell’s side have the attributes to go all the way in the competition this time around.

Castleford to win @ 7/5

The Tigers will be looking to back up their 26-18 victory at the KCOM Stadium in Super League earlier this season with another win at the home of the Black & Whites.

Cas will be determined to get back to winning ways after tough defeats at the hands of Catalans Dragons, Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves.

Hull FC were thumped 37-6 on home soil in their last outing by Catalans and it might be another night of disappoint for head coach Lee Radford and his side on Friday night.

St Helens to win @ 20/67

St Helens could well inflict another heavy defeat on Huddersfield Giants when the two sides go head-to-head in the cup on Sunday.

Saints continue to impress at the top of the Super League table and their last visit to the John Smith’s Stadium was an enjoyable one for head coach Justin Holbrook.

The Merseysiders ran out 40-12 winners at Huddersfield that day and there is little to suggest they cannot inflict a similar scoreline on the Giants this weekend.
