Rams can edge thrilling Super Bowl

245

There is not long to wait now for the New England Patriots to go head-to-head with the Los Angeles Rams to see who will lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy in Atlanta.

The Rams last won the Super Bowl in 2000 and the franchise’s wait for the big prize might just be drawing to an end.

LA Rams to win @ 6/5

There is certainly not much to choose between these two teams heading into Sunday’s Super Bowl at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

It’s is set to be a mouth-watering contest between the experienced Tom Brady and rising star Jared Goff in the quarterback positions.

Goff comes out on top in the stats so far this season, having thrown three more touchdown passes and recorded nearly 300 more passing yards than Brady.

The Pats’ talisman does have the big-game experience, though, and that counts for plenty at this level.

Gurley II first touchdown scorer @ 7/1

One man who could be the difference between the two teams with his game on the ground is Rams running back Todd Gurley II.

He has enjoyed a season to remember, with 17 touchdowns, and he has been the thorn in the side of many teams.

After a 26-23 win over the fancied New Orleans Saints, everything seems to be going the Rams’ way this season.

And having waited nearly two decades for more glory, the Rams might just have enough with Goff and Gurley II to get the job done in Georgia this weekend.
