There seems to be no stopping Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton on his quest for a fifth Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship and he can move closer to the top prize with a win in the Russian GP on Sunday.
Lewis Hamilton to win @ 11/10
Hamilton is the favourite to take maximum points and it is hard to go against him given his previous displays in Russia and current form.
The Briton has won four of the last five grands prix to open up a big lead over nearest rival Sebastian Vettel and has won two of the previous four editions of the Sochi race.
A Mercedes driver has won all of the Russian GPs since the event debuted on the F1 calendar in 2014. Hamilton has had to watch his team-mates take the wins in the last two years, but he can claim a third win in Sochi on Sunday.
Kimi Raikkonen podium finish @ 1/1
Kimi Raikkonen will leave Ferrari at the end of the season but he has enjoyed a solid final year with the Scuderia despite failing to register a win so far. The Finn has managed four top three finishes in the last six grands prix – and nine in 15 over the season – and can land another podium in Russia.
The veteran former world champion also has a good record on the circuit with two consecutive podiums going into the 2018 race, and like Hamilton he can complete his own hat-trick at the weekend.
