Wolves have shown they can mix it with the big boys in the Premier League and they will be looking to take points off another title challenger when they welcome Liverpool to Molineux on Friday night.
Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal have all had to settle for 1-1 draws against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, while Chelsea came away from Molineux with nothing after a 2-1 defeat.
Wolves have had problems against some of the teams struggling for Premier League survival, after defeats against Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town.
However, they look to have overcome those issue and are now on a three-game winning streak after victories and Chelsea, Newcastle United and Bournemouth.
They undoubtedly will face one of the biggest tests of their season so far when they welcome Liverpool to the West Midlands.
The Reds remain the only unbeaten side in the top five divisions in the country, manager Jurgen Klopp having turned the Merseysiders into a formidable outfit.
A 3-1 dismantling of Manchester United will have done the squads confidence no harm at all and with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino in their ranks they will cause Wolves problems.
Wolves secured a 2-1 win over a much-changed Liverpool side in the FA Cup the last time the sides met in January 2017 and if they can produce a similar performance they might be able to just stall the Reds’ push for their first Premier League crown.
