Manchester City have been so dominant this season that it is difficult to see who will beat them and it is unlikely to be Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Pep Guardiola’s team have won 18 Premier League matches in a row and will equal the longest winning streak in Europe’s top five leagues if they triumph again at Selhurst Park – they are 5/19 to do so.
City have won 10 of the last 11 league encounters between the two teams, including a 5-0 thrashing of the Eagles at the Etihad Stadium in September when Raheem Sterling bagged a brace. The former Liverpool star is 19/4 to score the first goal this weekend while a City victory and both teams to score is available at 27/20.
Palace’s eight-match unbeaten sequence was brought to an end by Arsenal on Thursday, but Roy Hodgson’s side showed great spirit in the London derby and are unlikely to be steamrollered into submission by City as they were three months ago. A narrow City win by a one-goal margin is available at 59/20.
Meanwhile, Arsenal can extend West Brom’s winless run to 19 Premier League matches by triumphing at The Hawthorns at odds of 20/29.
There has been little sign of any improvement in the Baggies’ form since Alan Pardew replaced Tony Pulis one month ago although they have at least managed to hold Liverpool and Everton to draws in December.
Salomon Rondon is Albion’s top scorer with four goals but the Venezuelan was woefully off-form against Sam Allardyce’s side on Tuesday so it may be worth looking elsewhere for a Baggies goalscorer with Chris Brunt 7/1 to score at any time against Arsene Wenger’s team.
Alexis Sanchez returned to form on Thursday with two fine goals in the Gunners’ win at Crystal Palace and the Chilean is 7/2 to score the first goal on Sunday.
