Liverpool are flying and will no doubt fancy themselves to extend their recent run when they travel to Swansea on Monday night.
Despite some solid performances, and progress in the FA Cup, Carlos Carvalhal is yet to prove he is the man to keep the Swans in the top flight.
In contrast, all is rosy in Jurgen Klopp’s garden and the Reds will be full of confidence after ending Manchester City’s unbeaten run with last weekend’s 4-3 win at Anfield.
Swansea also beat a team atop the standings last time out, progressing past Championship leaders Wolves in the FA Cup but Carvalhal is likely to field a team significantly different from that occasion.
Funnily enough, for all they have missed Fernando Llorente and Gylfi Sigurdsson, Wilfried Bony is showing signs of being back to something like his old self.
The Ivorian grabbed the decisive goal against Wolves and is 7/2 to score at anytime.
However, his form pales into insignificance in comparison to Mohamed Salah.
Since joining from Roma in the summer, Salah has plundered 24 goals to become a leading light upon his return to England and he could run riot at the Liberty, with him the 1/1 favourite to score first or last.
Although the Swans’ saving grace has been that they have retained some organisation during their struggles, their lack of pace will only encourage the Reds.
With that in mind, another successful night beckons for Klopp’s men and they are 21/20 to triumph to zero.
