Expect goals at the Emirates

The timing of this pesky thing they call Christmas Day means there’s some Friday night action in the Premier League, with Arsenal and Liverpool set to do battle at the Emirates.

This has traditionally been a goal-fest, with four or more goals scored in all but one of the last seven meetings between the teams.

Over 3.5 goals is 13/10 while the 59/20 for over 4.5 also looks good, and those who love value should even check out the 25/4 for over 5.5, especially when you consider that neither side can defend.

Arsenal rested their best players for Tuesday’s EFL Cup win over West Ham and will undoubtedly be raring to go. The home win is 6/4 and it is worth acknowledging that the Gunners have won 13 of their last 14 at home in the league.

Liverpool have again blown all before them with their attacking talent, with new boy Mohamed Salah especially impressive.

His form has somewhat overshadowed Sadio Mane, however, who will be confident of getting on the scoresheet, having netted on his last three outings against the Gunners.

The Senegalese may not start but is 8/5 to net at anytime while his side are 9/5 to win the game.

The draw is 51/20 although there is something special about Liverpool at the moment and, in what is expected to be an open game, firepower could be the difference.

The 29/10 for an away win with both score could be the answer, especially with lingering doubts over Arsenal’s lack of pace in defence.
