City to settle for Wembley draw

Tottenham have not drawn a Premier League match so far this season but they can end that record by frustrating Manchester City on Monday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team have won seven of their first nine top-flight matches and have kept clean sheets in each of their last three games.

They have picked up victories despite not playing particularly well this term and there is a case to suggest City have turned into flat-track bullies this season.

Spurs to draw 1-1 @ 27/4

Pep Guardiola’s outfit have already thrashed Huddersfield Town, Cardiff City and Burnley by five-goal margins as well as beating Fulham 3-0, but were happy to draw 0-0 at Liverpool three weeks ago and also had to settle for a point when they faced Wolves at Molineux.

Spurs have only played three of their nine matches at ‘home’ and, despite not buying any new players in the summer, have a strong squad that remains water-tight at the back in the Premier League.

They have been less impressive in the Champions League with the late goals they have conceded against Inter Milan and PSV Eindhoven costing them five points and making their chances of qualifying for the last 16 slim.

Spurs to win either half @ 29/20

However, Spurs have thrashed Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford and also beaten Newcastle United, Fulham, Brighton, Huddersfield, Cardiff and West Ham United this season.

Spurs may need a little good fortune but, with Harry Kane appearing to be back to his best, Christian Eriksen over his injury problems, and Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura in good form, Pochettino’s team should not be written off.

Lamela is good value at 12/1 to score the first goal at Wembley while Moura can be backed at 17/2.
