No slip-ups for Spartak in Greece

PAOK may have knocked Basel out in the last round but Spartak Moscow can frustrate the Greek side this week in the first leg of their Champions League third qualifying round tie.

Spartak were involved in the Champions League last term and recorded a 5-1 victory against Sevilla only to eventually finish third in their group and then lose out to Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League.

Spartak Moscow 47/20 to beat PAOK

PAOK’s win against Basel was impressive but the odds on the Russian team triumphing on Wednesday are too good to ignore.

Elsewhere, Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb thrashed Hapoel Be’er Sheva 7-2 on aggregate in the last round and should be too strong for FC Astana who are good at home but often struggle on their travels.

Dinamo have the quality to reach the play-off round although they may have to settle for a draw in Kazakhstan.

MOL Vidi caused a shock in the last round by beating Ludogorets Razgrad but the Hungarian side are facing much tougher opposition this time and Malmo should be able to record a convincing win.

The Swedish team battled to a narrow 2-1 aggregate triumph against CFR Cluj in the last round but will be able to win more convincingly against Vidi.

Malmo 3/1 to beat Vidi by a two-goal margin

Meanwhile, Ajax are 49/20 to draw in Belgium against Standard Liege but should win the second leg in Amsterdam to confirm their spot in the play-off round, while Benfica may struggle against a strong Fenerbahce outfit.

A 1-1 draw in Lisbon is available at 6/1. Celtic produced two solid displays to dispose of Rosenborg in the last round and can build on that momentum by defeating an AEK Athens team that have not started their domestic campaign yet.

A Celtic victory by a two-goal margin is good value at 15/4.
