Leeds entertain Derby in the second leg of their Championship play-off semi-final on Wednesday and will be looking to secure their place at Wembley with another win over the Rams.
Leeds have been the better of these two sides this season, both in terms of overall consistency and in their head-to-head meetings.
The Yorkshire club finished nine points ahead of Derby, winning 4-1 at Pride Park and 2-0 at Elland Road and backed those results up in Saturday’s first leg 1-0 win – despite a number of injury problems.
They dominated possession, defended well to ensure the Rams failed to have a shot on target and scored an excellent goal.
With three wins over Derby already this season – with an aggregate score of 7-1 – a Leeds win looks a solid option.
Richard Keogh to be carded @ 16/5
Derby’s Richard Keogh looks a value call to be carded in the match.
Keogh was in the thick of the action in the first leg and after a yellow card in that game he’s now been booked in three of his last five appearances against Leeds.
Leeds (-1.75) to win corner handicap @ 20/23
Finally, backing Leeds (-1.75) to win the corner handicap looks worthwhile.
They won the count 8-1 on Saturday and it was 8-2 when the sides met here in the league in January. Leeds were also 5-3 winners in August. Across the season as a whole, Leeds have had 3.25 corners more than their opponents per home game.
