Imperious Real to finish Juve off

Real Madrid will stay on course to win the Champions League for the third season in a row by easing to victory against Juventus on Wednesday.

Los Blancos produced a dominant display to win last week’s quarter-final first-leg encounter in Turin 3-0 and should have little difficulty finishing the Serie A side off this week.

The Old Lady had no answer to Cristiano Ronaldo last week with the Portugal international scoring twice, including one incredible bicycle kick, as the capital giants all but ended the Italian side’s European dreams for another season.

Marcelo was also on the scoresheet in the first leg and he is 13/2 to score at any time on Wednesday in a game Real are 33/20 to win with both teams to score.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side lost 3-0 at Barcelona in the group stage and Real are 13/1 to copy the La Liga leaders by beating Juve 3-0 on Wednesday.

Manchester City have beaten Liverpool 5-0 in the Premier League this season but Pep Guardiola’s team have little chance of repeating that scoreline on Tuesday as they attempt to repair the damage of last week’s 3-0 loss at Anfield.

City threw away a two-goal lead in the Manchester derby on Saturday, eventually losing 3-2 to Jose Mourinho’s side, and seem incapable of keeping a clean sheet against Liverpool.

The Premier League leaders will no doubt swarm forward in the second leg and a high-scoring game seems certain with decent odds of 17/4 available on there being over 5.5 goals in the game.

A City win and both teams to score on Tuesday can be backed at 23/20, while City are 10/11 to score in both halves.

Barcelona are 11/2 to beat Roma from behind in the Stadio Olimpico after easing to a 4-1 victory against the Serie A team in last week’s first leg while Bayern Munich, who beat Sevilla 2-1 in Spain, can be backed at 21/20 to keep a clean sheet in the second leg with Thomas Muller good value at 9/2 to score the first goal.
