Leroy Sane and Glenn Murray can continue their good form in Tuesday’s Premier League matches.
West Ham to beat Cardiff @ 5/7
Cardiff have won three of their last six but all those victories came on home turf. Two of the wins came against sides very much out of form (Fulham and Wolves), while the other was achieved, just, against a Brighton team who played with 10 men for the majority of the game.
Away, the Bluebirds have picked up just one point and scored only two goals so far.
West Ham have hardly set the world on fire but they impressed away at Newcastle on Saturday and having taken seven points from their last four games, they look ready to add to their collection here.
Glenn Murray to score first in Brighton v Crystal Palace @ 5/1
In the six Premier League games played at the Amex Stadium this season, Murray has scored the first goal in four of them. He shouldn’t be 5/1 here.
He’s far and away the biggest goal threat Brighton have and while the bookies basically have this as a 50:50 clash, form suggests the hosts should be shorter – they’ve won four of their last seven, while Palace only ended a run of eight games without a win on Saturday.
Leroy Sane to score first in Watford v Man City @ 6/1
Having been overlooked at the start of the season by Pep Guardiola, Sane is bang in form again now and he’s scored six times in his last eight starts for club and country.
He’s 6/4 to find the net again in this one and with City having won this fixture 6-0 and 5-0 in the last two seasons, that’s tempting.
Yet Guardiola is likely to make more changes – maybe Sane only be on the bench – so playing the first goalscorer market makes more sense. Favourite Sergio Aguero is a major doubt due to an unspecified muscle injury, while it’s money back if he’s not on the field when the first goal goes in.
