There are three FA Cup fifth round ties on Saturday and League Two Newport County face the daunting prospect of hosting Manchester City.
Man City -3 @ 23/20
Pep Guardiola is likely to rest the majority of his key men for this tie, as he has done in previous rounds of the domestic cup competitions, but expect the Etihad outfit to put Newport to the sword regardless.
The Citizens have shown no mercy when faced with lesser opposition this season and destroyed Rotherham 7-0 in the third round, while Burton were thrashed 9-0 in the EFL Cup.
Newport will be keen to take the game to the Premier League champions but the visitors should be able to handle anything the Welsh club throw at them and they can beat a -3 handicap.
Brighton v Derby draw @ 13/5
Championship outfit Derby County head to Brighton and Frank Lampard’s Rams can force a replay.
Albion are involved in the relegation dogfight and are likely to rest a few stars, while Lampard should field close to his strongest XI despite Derby’s promotion ambitions.
Derby managed a draw at Southampton in the previous round and go into this clash unbeaten in six, while Brighton have just one win in their last seven – an extra-time success over West Brom in this competition.
The Seagulls needed a second bite of the cherry to beat the Baggies in the last round and may have to do it the hard way again to reach the last eight.
AFC Wimbledon @ 14/5
Wimbledon produced a huge upset in the previous round by seeing off Premier League West Ham and can claim another scalp in the shape of Millwall.
The Dons have been in woeful form in League One but the cup has provided real respite and they can make the most of home advantage against a Lions side who have lost 10 of their last 15 away games.
