It has been a stroll for Arsenal and Chelsea in the Europa League so far and that looks set to continue on Thursday as the London clubs aim to top their groups.
The Gunners seem certain to field a second-string side against Vorskla Poltava as their main stars are rested for Sunday’s derby clash with Tottenham.
Iwobi to score the first goal @ 9/1
Vorskla must win the match if they are to have any chance of qualifying for the last 32 but Unai Emery’s team, who beat the Ukrainians 4-2 on home soil in September when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice, have enough strength in depth to triumph again on Thursday, with Alex Iwobi good value to score the first goal.
Chelsea have won all four of their Group L matches without moving out of first gear and Maurizio Sarri’s team should have few problems against PAOK Salonika, who they beat 1-0 in Greece three months ago thanks to Willian’s early goal.
Chelsea are 31/4 to ease to a 3-0 victory against PAOK.
Sevilla to win and both teams to score @ 19/10
Sevilla may be top of La Liga and the top-scorers in Europa League qualifying with 15 goals, but their place in the last 32 is not yet secure as they lost 2-1 to Krasnodar in October.
They thrashed Standard Liege 5-1, though, and can win a high-scoring affair in Belgium.
If Celtic lose to Rosenborg in Trondheim and Leipzig win at Salzburg, Brendan Rodgers’ side will be eliminated from the Europa League.
This will be the fourth meeting between Celtic and the Norwegian team this season and Rodgers’ men have kept clean sheets in the last two games. They are 7/5 to do so again on Thursday.
Group G has been very keenly contested and only two points separate all four teams after four matches.
Rangers had been unbeaten in 11 European games before losing 4-3 to Spartak Moscow and they can draw at Ibrox against Villarreal at 53/20, while the Russian side can move a step closer to the last 32 by beating Rapid Vienna from behind (21/4).
