All eyes will be on Anfield tonight as Liverpool welcome Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
The pair have already provided plenty of thrills and spills this season, with the aggregate score from their two Premier League fixtures clocking in at 8-4 in City’s favour.
Jurgen Klopp edges Pep Guardiola in their individual head-to-head, winning six and drawing one of their 12 meetings, with a total of 37 goals scored in that time.
There is likely to be plenty of action at both ends tonight and with over 3.5 goals comes in at a decent 8/5, that is my top bet for this game.
However, for those seeking a result, I think Liverpool could shade it at 2/1. The expected absence of Emre Can will hamper the balance of their midfield but with no Sergio Aguero on the other side, Klopp’s men could take a lead to The Etihad next week.
In the other match, I cannot foresee any issues for Barcelona when Roma come to town.
The Blaugrana are unbeaten at home this season and have kept clean sheets in 10 of their last 12 at the Nou Camp.
Roma themselves are in decent form having avoided defeat in their last five, but lost 6-1 on their last trip to Barca and I think it will be another difficult night.
The home win is predictably short so I’m backing that outcome to zero at 20/21.
