Swans will make Boro work

Middlesbrough got back on track in midweek with a home win over Bolton Wanderers, but a Saturday visit from Swansea City represents another significant hurdle.

Boro have only won one of their last six meetings with the Swans, but they will be boosted by the knowledge that the visitors have only won one of their last six Championship games, have opened the season with two victories.

Middlesbrough to win by one goal @ 43/20

Goals have been an issue for City, with them failing to find the net in four of their last five games in all competitions.

Boro, meanwhile, do not score too many goals, but let in even fewer, so a tight encounter can be expected at the Riverside, where the hosts should have just enough to come out on top and take another important three points.

QPR v Norwich, home win @ 6/4

QPR were widely predicted to be among the relegation candidates this season, but, after a sticky start to the season, they have taken ten points from their last four games.

During that upturn they have conceded just one goal, so a visit from Norwich City may not be as daunting as it might have been a month ago and Rangers may just have the confidence needed to get themselves over the line.

The Canaries do have a man in form in summer signing Teemu Pukki, who has scored four times in eight Championship outings and who is worth watching at 37/20 to score at any time.

Ipswich to win 1-0 over Bolton @ 21/4

Finally, rock-bottom Ipswich Town are without a league win so far this season, but a visit from Bolton could be just what they need to end their wait for a victory.

The Trotters are without a win in their last four Championship games and have shipped nine goals in that run, while Town picked up a useful home point against high-flying Brentford last time out.

A summer of change at Portman Road may be about to pay off, with the hosts seemingly well set to come out on top on Saturday.
