It is getting to the point of the busy festive period where players are begging for a break and the rest of us are screaming for more which is what we are going to get this weekend in the Championship.
Friday kicks off the excitement with two games, one of which is a feisty London derby. Both Millwall and Queens Park Rangers are in need of the points, with inconsistent seasons leading to relegation fears.
Tasty it will undoubtedly be at the Den but home advantage could be critical in this one and the Lions can win at 11/10.
Elsewhere and Cardiff will hope to put their slump behind them when Preston head to the Welsh capital. Eight games unbeaten is an impressive run for the Deepdale outfit but it could come to an end, with Neil Warnock’s men 11/10.
Of the games at three o’clock on Saturday, look no further than Leeds’ trip to Birmingham. Steve Cotterill seems to be hanging on at St Andrew’s, with his own comments about his side’s lack of mental strength unlikely to have made him any friends in the dressing room.
The Whites, in contrast, seem to be going in the right direction and although it might feel a bit like jumping on the bandwagon (we’ve all done it before with Leeds) 13/10 looks far too good to ignore for the away win.
Finally at 5:30, it is the game we have all be waiting for as second place Bristol City take on leaders Wolves. The pair have one defeat between them in their last 20 league outings and are rightly top of the tree.
This is such a tough one to call so it may not be a bad idea to look elsewhere and over 2.5 goals could be the option at 1/1.
