Sheffield Wednesday are unbeaten since Steve Bruce took charge six games ago but they could be heading for a first defeat when they host city rivals Sheffield United on Monday.
The Owls have won three and drawn three since Bruce stepped in but none of those games have come against sides in the top half of the Championship.
The last two Steel City derbies have both ended in goalless draws, with both of those meetings coming at Bramall Lane.
However, the Blades won the corresponding fixture 4-2 last season and we may well see goals at both ends at Hillsborough again on Monday night.
The pressure will be on Wednesday to attack and they can make a breakthrough, but Chris Wilder’s men should have the firepower to come out on top regardless.
Blades striker Sharp hasn’t scored in his last two appearances but has been in excellent form this season with 22 goals so far, behind only Norwich frontman Teemu Pukki in the Championship scorers chart.
The veteran forward has a good record against teams in the bottom half of the Championship with goals against the likes of Bolton, Ipswich, Wigan, Reading and Blackburn over the last few months and can make his mark with the opener at Hillsborough.
