An injury-depleted Liverpool welcome Barcelona to Anfield on Tuesday night but it could be a long evening for the Reds, as they hope for a Champions League miracle against Lionel Messi and company.
The Blaugrana produced a strong performance to come out on top 3-0 in the first leg at the Nou Camp, with Luis Suarez and a brace from Messi giving the Reds a mountain to climb for the return semi-final leg.
That task has been made all the more difficult with the news forward Mohamed Salah will miss out on the second leg with a concussion he suffered in the 3-2 win over Newcastle United at the weekend.
Added to that, Roberto Firmino will also be missing, as he continues to struggle with a muscle strain.
This leaves manager Jurgen Klopp missing two thirds of his magical front three, and so much now rests on the shoulders of Sadio Mane to get the goals.
Of course, with a three-goal advantage, Barcelona are not in a position where they need to be chasing goals but they will look to secure an away-goal early to put the contest well and truly to bed.
Messi was at his mercurial best in the latter stages of the first leg and Barcelona should be able keep more possession on Tuesday night, with Liverpool losing players like Salah and Firmino to hold the ball up.
The Reds might have their moments in this match but the quality that Barcelona possess and the loss of key players for Liverpool, means it should be the La Liga champions progressing through to the final.
