1) Morata can replace Costa
In a week when Chelsea finally resolved the Diego Costa saga, Alvaro Morata confirmed that he is more than capable of replacing his fellow Spanish international.
It’s now six goals in six appearances for the former Real Madrid man, after a hat-trick at Stoke, and the 24-year-old is in to 9/2 to be the Premier League’s top goalscorer this season.
2) Rashford the key to Utd success
Jose Mourinho has spent a lot of money to strengthen his squad but it could be a Manchester United Academy product that will be the key to a serious title bid (Utd 11/4 Outright).
Marcus Rashford have proven to the manager just how good he is and the fact that he’s started the last three league games, indicates that Mourinho feels the England ace is key to a successful season.
3) Coutinho is back!
Liverpool might not have been totally convincing in their 3-2 win at Leicester, but Philippe Coutinho looked back to his best at the King Power Stadium.
After fending off interest from Barcelona all summer, the Reds (Evs for a Top-Four Finish) eased the Brazilian back into the side and he has looked a bit off the pace in the last couple of weeks.
But Coutinho looked back to his best against the Foxes, scoring a sublime free kick and setting up Mo Salah’s opening goal.
4) Sane must start for City
Pep Guardiola has an embarrassment of riches at his disposal, but Leroy Sane must surely secure a regular starting berth for Manchester City (Outright 10/11).
The German has bagged five goals in six appearances, including the crucial opener against Crystal Palace, and he has only started two games to date.
5) Swansea have real problems
It’s now no wins in four for Swansea and maybe more worrying for Paul Clement, it’s just three goals in that time.
The Swans have lost all three of their home games and now face a big clash with fellow strugglers West Ham this coming Saturday (Match Odds – West Ham 4/5, Draw 12/5, Swansea 7/2).
