Having made a winning start against Tunisia, England have a great chance of making sure of a place in the knockout stages of the World Cup be defeating Panama on Sunday.
The Three Lions had Harry Kane to thank for the three points against the Eagles of Carthage and the Spurs striker will no doubt be relishing an opportunity to add to his tally against a defence which shipped three goals in the loss to Belgium.
Kane to score 2 or more goals – 9/4
Kane netted both goals against Tunisia and quite simply has the knack of being in the right place at the right time.
Having seen Romelu Lukaku score twice for Belgium against Panama, he will be hoping to emulate that feat and ramp up his bid to be the leading scorer in the tournament.
Kane is currently 6/1 to be top goalscorer at the World Cup and a strong showing against Los Canaleros is sure to see those odds narrow significantly.
England to win by two goals – 51/20
Having conceded an equaliser via a penalty against Tunisia and only rescuing the win right at the death, England will be keen to avoid any such problems in Nizhny Novgorod.
A two-goal victory looks to be about right for Gareth Southgate’s developing side, who know that a tougher challenge from Belgium lies just around the corner, while England to score over 2.5 goals at 29/20 appears to be decent value.
A three-goal win at 4/1 might also tempt you but Panama are likely to put up a major fight after being somewhat overpowered in the second half against Belgium.
England to keep clean sheet – 4/9
Having offered little threat in front of goal against the Red Devils, Panama seem unlikely to get on the scoresheet against England, whose backline looked solid enough against Tunisia – only conceding due to that rather soft penalty.
