England have questions to answer

Having been routed in the first Test in Barbados, England have to show a massive reaction in the second match of three against the West Indies at North Sound.

The tourists got their selection all wrong for the series opener, while they also played way below their capabilities as they were humiliated 381 runs.

Now they have to put things right and there can be no repeat of the botched selection for the Kensington Oval clash.

When the hosts demolished Bangladesh by an innings and 219 runs in the last Test played at North Sound, all 20 wickets for the Windies were taken by pace bowlers, so the selection process would appear to be entirely straightforward.

West Indies to win second Test @ 49/20

The Windies went into the series opener as big underdogs, but showed that status to be flawed as they dominated almost throughout in Barbados.

And, the hosts having got off to a perfect start, England face a huge task in trying to get back into the series, despite being 1/2 to win in Antigua and level the series, and they certainly don’t offer any value in the match outright market.

Jason Holder to be man of the match @ 13/1

Home skipper Jason Holder oozes authority and class in everything he does and, having scored a double century in Barbados, he should be to the fore again at North Sound.

Last time England visited in 2015, he made an unbeaten century which rescued a draw for the Windies, while against Bangladesh just over six months ago he took five wickets in the match, so he has form with both bat and ball at the venue.

Joe Root to be man of the match @ 31/4

If England are to get back on track, then skipper Joe Root will have to try and outdo his opposite number Holder.

The classy right-hander made 83 and 59 at North Sound in April 2015 and will be eager to at least match those efforts in a bid to try and drive his side on towards levelling the series.
