It’s the turn of League One at Wembley today and Rotherham could have the edge as they and Shrewsbury duke it out for a place in the Championship.
Rotherham 27/20 to win in 90 minutes
The Shrews were well in the automatic running alongside Wigan and Blackburn and provided somewhat of a surprise package after finishing 18th in 2016-17.
However, they lost form at the vital moment, winning only one of their last six games, while also losing out in the Football League Trophy final.
Victory today would see them enter the second tier for the first time in their 128-year history and they will be buoyed by their impressive play-off semi-final wins over Charlton.
Rotherham in contrast won four of their last six before getting the better of Scunthorpe over two legs.
Following relegation from the Championship last term, Paul Warne has built a squad with a decent blend of youth and experience.
Interestingly, the pair both won on the road when they met in the league but it was the Millers who triumphed in their most recent meeting.
Despite the Shrews getting it together in the semis, Rotherham are a slick outfit and Warne’s men should have too much.
Toulouse 37/20 to win to zero
Basketball has been more my flavour this week but I’ve found some value in France where Toulouse take on AC Ajaccio in the Ligue 1 qualification play-off.
Les Violets won the opening leg 3-0 and should have similar joy this evening.
The trip from Corsica is unlikely to be a fruitful one and even scoring a goal may prove too much for ‘The Bear’.
