There’s more FA Cup fifth round action today and I think Millwall can escape an upset when they head west to AFC Wimbledon.
Millwall to win @ 1/1
A quarter-final place in this competition would provide a nice distraction for two sides struggling to get things going in their respective divisions.
The Dons sit bottom of League One and while they won at Walsall in midweek, that was their first success since overcoming West Ham 4-2 in the fourth round.
Championship Millwall were the 3-2 winners against Everton but that was their last win in any competition. However, they have shown a taste for this competition in recent years, reaching the last eight two seasons ago and the semis in 2013.
Do not expect a classic but in my view the Lions should just have enough to edge a result.
Atalanta to win and both to score @ 53/20
Over in Italy, Atalanta can go fourth if they beat AC Milan in what should be a cracker in Bergamo.
Unbeaten in eight, La Dea defeated Juventus 3-0 in the Coppa Italia on their own patch last month and continue to surprise under Gian Piero Gasperini.
Milan are themselves having a decent season under the watch of Gennaro Gattuso and eased past Cagliari 3-0 last weekend.
Krzysztof Piatek has scored four in three games for the Rossoneri and while he may add to that tally, I fancy Atalanta to come out on top in an entertaining game.
