GSW to make winning Finals start

The NBA Finals tip off tonight and I expect Golden State Warriors to lay down an early marker.

GSW to win @ 21/20

Toronto Raptors have the home court advantage in the best of seven series with four of the meetings set to take place at the Scotiabank Arena, including this one.

The Raptors are aiming for their first ever title and were mightily impressive as they came from 2-0 down to beat Milwaukee Bucks 4-2.

GSW are a big-time outfit though, winning three of the last four Championships and dealt with Kevin Durant’s absence admirably as they brushed aside Portland 4-0 in the Western Conference Finals.

Toronto won both regular season match-ups but tonight is another level and on these occasions, Golden State usually come out on top.

Pouille to win 3-1 @ 27/10

Martin Klizan produced a magical comeback to defeat Mikhail Kukushkin in the first round of the French Open but looks set to fall short against home favourite Lucas Pouille.

The Frenchman is a solid player on clay and has the extra motivation of playing in his home Grand Slam, with this year looking like his best chance of getting past the third round.

Klizan is a good player but it is Pouille who won their only previous meeting, conveniently on clay in 2017, and it should be his day again.
