Easy does it for Mexico

Mexico caused a shock by beating Germany in their opening World Cup game and should have no issues today against South Korea.

Mexico to win to zero – 13/10

El Tri impressed with their expansive play against Die Mannschaft and were also impressively sound at the back, keeping the world champions at arm’s length in their 1-0 Group F victory.

South Korea have been blunted by injuries and struggled to create chances in their 1-0 defeat to Sweden, and another loss would see them heading home from Russia.

That looks set to be the case in Rostov, with the Taegeuk Warriors failing to score in their last four so it should be a comfortable afternoon for Juan Carlos Osorio’s men.

Germany to win to zero – 7/5

Germany were poor in defeat to Mexico but are a country with real tournament pedigree and can get back on track against Sweden.

The pair shared 16 goals over two games in qualifying for the 2014 World Cup but it is unlikely to be that exciting in Sochi.

Joachim Low is set to ring the changes for the game and, with so much talent in the squad, they should be far too good for the Blugalt, who are functional rather than fantastic.
