Dortmund to bounce back

It is first versus second in the Bundesliga tonight and Borussia Dortmund should have too much for Borussia Monchengladbach.

Dortmund to win and both to score @ 13/10

Der BVB have already sealed the Herbstmeister for being top at Christmas but will be smarting from their first domestic defeat of the season on Tuesday when they went down 2-1 at struggling Fortuna Dusseldorf.

In contrast, it was business as usual for Gladbach, winning 2-0 at home to Nurnberg and they have not conceded in their last three outings.

The occasion and quality of the opposition means their defence is likely to come under extraordinary pressure and expect goals on both sides.

Lucien Favre’s men have been excellent this season and I fully believe they will come out on top in what should be a thriller.

Liverpool to win and both to score @ 11/5

There is also a Premier League offering tonight and Liverpool can ensure they top the table heading into Christmas with a win at Wolves.

The Reds thrashed Manchester United 3-1 last Sunday but actually lost the last time these two met, Helder Costa starring as Wolves won 2-1 in the fourth round of the 2016-17 FA Cup.

Nuno Santo’s men have made a decent impression in the top flight and draws against both Manchester clubs and a win over Chelsea suggests they save their best for the big boys.

However, Liverpool seem to be hitting their stride and will expect to remain the only unbeaten team in the Premier League by winning an entertaining fixture.
