Die Wolfe ready to strike

Wolfsburg have picked up seven points from their last three games and can grab a win tonight at Nurnberg.

Wolfsburg to win @ 11/10

It has been a roller-coaster season plagued by inconsistency for Die Wolfe, but their recent run has been impressive, especially when you consider they have faced RB Leipzig, Frankfurt and Hoffenheim.

In contrast, Nurnberg have not won any of their last eight, a streak that has left them level on points with the relegation play-off spot.

A victory would be timely, but Wolfsburg look too good to ignore and, having won 2-0 this time last year when the pair met at the Max-Morlock-Stadion, an away win appears a handy price.

Celta to win and both to score @ 14/5

Back-to-back wins suggest Celta Vigo’s players are starting to respond to Miguel Cardoso’s demands, so tonight’s game against Leganes looks well set up for them.

Los Pepineros ended a run of 22 La Liga trips away from home without winning by beating Real Valladolid 4-2 earlier this month and are likely to head to Balaidos with a similar attacking mindset.

Celta beat Huesca 2-0 last time out at home, but Saturday’s 3-2 win over Villarreal was more similar to what we have seen in recent months and I expect them to come out on top in an entertaining clash.
