Daily Tips – Salah to star for Reds

Liverpool have shone in the Champions League and can claim a first-leg advantage when they face Roma in the semi-finals at Anfield.

The Reds defeated Manchester City to reach this stage and are a club with real European pedigree, winning this competition on five occasions, beating the Giallorossi in the 1984 final.

Anfield is sure to be rocking but Roma will be no pushovers and pulled off the shock of all shocks in the quarters, beating Barcelona 3-0 in Italy to overturn a 4-1 first-leg deficit.

Eusebio Di Francesco’s men have also bested Chelsea this year and although Mohamed Salah departed a few weeks before he took charge, he will have inside information on how to stop him.

The brilliant Egyptian is 12/5 to score first tonight and I can see it being a good evening for Jurgen Klopp’s men, with 8/5 a tempting price for the home win and both to score.

My other tips come from the Championship where Barnsley can take advantage of their game in hand at Nottingham Forest.

Forest have nothing left to play for while the Tykes can jump out of the bottom three with a result. The 31/20 on offer seems a good price for a team battling for their lives.

Elsewhere in the Championship, it is tough to look past a Cardiff side who are also 31/20 against inconsistent Derby.
