Liverpool head into tonight’s Champions League semi-final second-leg against Roma with a 5-2 lead and although I think they’ll make it through, it will not be easy.
The Giallorossi have not conceded at home in this competition and famously defeated Barcelona 3-0 in the quarter-finals to book their place in the last four.
Having kept both Atletico Madrid and Chelsea out on home soil, Eusebio Di Francesco’s men will fancy themselves for another clean sheet.
However, they will find life tough against a Liverpool attack who have netted 38 times in Europe.
Last week’s clash at Anfield showed both teams can be vulnerable and another case of over 3.5 goals is likely at 10/11.
With 10 goals to his name, Mohamed Salah has lit up the Champions League and is 33/10 to break the deadlock like he did last week and will be raring to go against his former club.
His pace on the break against a sluggish back-line could be crucial and I believe Liverpool will break Roma’s clean sheet record.
I also think the Giallorossi will put the squeeze on and although they are unlikely to qualify, can give the Reds a scare with a home win and both to score at 43/20.
