Daily Tips – Lions to roar at Ipswich

Millwall have been kind to us in recent weeks and I think they can do the business again at Ipswich.

The Lions have won their last six on the road in the Championship and are currently 13 unbeaten, a run that has seen them sneak into the play-off contention.

Neil Harris is keeping his cool but must be growing excited by his team’s momentum while they are arguably heading to Suffolk at the perfect time.

The Tractor Boys have already confirmed Mick McCarthy will leave in the summer and Saturday’s defeat at Birmingham was their third in a row. They are also having trouble scoring, not netting in their last five at home.

In contrast, Millwall were 2-0 winners at home to Nottingham Forest on Friday, their third-straight clean sheet.

Looking at this one, I cannot see past the away win at 6/5 and, if you’re looking for something extra, I also really fancy the 11/5 for that outcome to zero.

I also like the 5/4 on offer for Preston to get the better of Derby.

PNE were poor in the second half of Friday’s 4-1 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday but the Rams seem to be a team on the slide after being smashed by the same scoreline at home to Sunderland.

It is now eight without a win for Gary Rowett’s side and I think another Derby defeat is on the cards at Deepdale.
