Daily Tips – Lions and Cottagers look good to continue runs

Slavisa Jokanovic

Easter is always a busy time in the Football League and of today’s Championship fixtures, I think the game to follow is Millwall’s clash with Nottingham Forest.

The Lions were flying before the international break, going unbeaten in 12 games and another win here would help continue their stealthy run to the play-offs.

Aitor Karanka has added some stability to Forest, with them drawing their three games immediately before the break 0-0 to extend their own unbeaten run to seven.

I think their streak could be about to come to an end though, with Neil Harris’ side really having the bit between their teeth as they head into the game against one of his former clubs.

My bet of the day is for the Lions to roar at 5/6 but I think we can go a bit further. Forest have failed to net in their last three and with Millwall keeping clean sheets in their last two, I’m also going to put a pound or two on the home victory to zero at 7/4.

Fulham’s 23/20 to win at Norwich is my second pick of the day, with the Cottagers again staging their late dash.

Despite dropping points late time out against Queens Park Rangers, Slavisa Jokanovic’s men are top of the form table after avoiding defeat in their last 15 league games.

With 10 points between themselves and the play-off spots, the Canaries are almost waiting for next season and I quite fancy an away win in this one.
