Daily Tips – Levante to edge past Espanyol

There’s more Copa del Rey action on Thursday and Levante look really good value to get the better of Espanyol.

Los Granotas won last week’s first leg and despite being bashed 3-0 by Barcelona at the weekend, will fancy themselves to go through.

Having drawn 0-0 away to Espanyol in La Liga back in October, they seem to have their number.

Crucially as well, Los Periquitos played at Malaga on Monday and despite winning, Quique Sanchez Flores is unlikely to risk his big names as he looks ahead to the weekend’s visit of Athletic Bilbao.

With changes galore, it is unlikely to be a cracker but Levante’s price of 37/20 is my big bet for the night.

In the other games, there could be fireworks at the Nou Camp where Barcelona welcome Celta Vigo.

Despite their relatively meagre resources, Celta are a club who love to trouble the big boys and really should have beaten Real Madrid at the weekend.

A missed penalty cost them all three points in Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Los Blancos but they also have a habit of getting up the Blaugrana’s noses.

I think Barca will progress but it will not be easy and, after drawing 1-1 last week, I can see the visitors netting again.

Therefore, I’m going to back the 11/10 for Barcelona to win and both to score.
