Daily Tips – Eagles too good for lacklustre Hornets

Wilfried Zaha

Crystal Palace have rediscovered their previous verve and can further cement their Premier League status with a win at Watford.

The Eagles again showed how dangerous they can be in last weekend’s 3-2 win over Brighton and in Wilfried Zaha they have one of the form players in England.

Four points in two games has given them a five-point cushion over the bottom three and they are facing a Watford team who cannot help but drop off in the second half of the season.

No wins in five has seen them fall to 12th and with identical goal difference of -18, will go below Palace with another defeat.

I can see that happening and Palace are a very tempting 29/20 to win, while Zaha can be backed at 7/4 in the Anytime Goalscorer market.

In the other game we’ll look at, I fancy Hull to win away at Bristol City.

The Robins were flying during the opening half of the season but have dropped off and losing three of their last four has all but ended their play-off hopes.

Confidence appears low at Ashton Gate while barring last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday, the Tigers have been purring.

Nigel Adkins’ side can take advantage of City’s woes today and I think 43/20 for the away win is too good to turn down.
