Brighton arguably have the worst run-in of all the Premier League strugglers and are unlikely to get anything out of Tottenham tonight.
The Seagulls were slack as they lost 3-2 at Crystal Palace on Saturday and, despite being seven points clear of the bottom three, they now face a run of games that sees them take on Burnley, both Manchester clubs and also Liverpool.
Spurs are first on the agenda and, having lost 3-1 to Manchester City on Saturday, a few of their players may feel they have a point to prove, especially with an FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United on Saturday.
Mauricio Pochettino has hinted he may rotate for this one and that throws up the possibility of those given a chance at the Amex impressing enough to win a starting place at the weekend.
This looks set to be a really entertaining affair but, with Brighton having lost three of their last four and Spurs winning their last four away games, the Lilywhites appear set to take the points.
With Tottenham struggling to keep clean sheets, I’m backing the away victory and both to score at 37/20, while Spurs have also been drawing at half-time, before going on to win at full-time in their last four away games, and another ‘X2’ outcome is 3/1.
