Daily Tip – Palace to push Pep’s men hard

Roy Hodgson

It is becoming increasingly feasible that Manchester City will go the entire Premier League season unbeaten but they cannot take anything for granted at Crystal Palace.

Pep Guardiola has repeatedly laughed off the notion that his side can emulate Arsenal’s ‘Invincibles’ but the longer their run continues, the more likely even he might feel it is to happen.

Encouragingly for the Spaniard, his side are repeatedly finding ways to secure narrow wins and that might be exactly what is required against the Eagles.

Palace are a different team under Roy Hodgson and survival now appears a formality. Even suggesting that seems remarkable when you consider they failed to score in any of their first seven league games this season.

Although a win on Sunday looks unlikely, they can expect to push City, who still have questions to answer when it comes to facing the more physical sides.

An away victory with both to score at 27/20 is my pick here and do not be surprised if Wilfried Zaha, who has a habit of producing against the big sides, is an anytime goalscorer at 16/5.
