Daily Tip – Gladbach to continue European push

Friday night action is always fiery in the Bundesliga and I can see Borussia Monchengladbach winning an eventful game against Werder Bremen.

Die Fohlen had gone four without a win, and, more crucially for a generally prolific side, as many without a goal before besting Hannover 1-0 last weekend and will expect to make home advantage count.

Having risen so much that they became Bundesliga champions in 2004, Werder have gradually declined. They currently sit 14th but have experienced an upturn in form that has seen them triumph in three of their last four.

Gladbach, in contrast, are looking at the European places and despite their injury issues, should still win at 1/1.

For those looking for something extra, this should be an open and attacking affair and the home side to win with both to score at 51/20 looks a very decent option.

Having looked elsewhere, I quite fancy Nice to win at home against Lille.

The 10/13 quote is an excellent price for Les Aiglons who will put a full-strength team out with the Europa League a thing of the past.

Lille have lost their last four and sadly for purists, look in real danger of dropping out of Ligue 1, despite having a squad and coach who should be faring far better.

Before a recent slump, Nice won three straight home games in the league 1-0 and that outcome again is 5/1, while the home win to zero is a handy 31/20.
