Wednesday night sees the penultimate game of the busy festive period and it could be a cracker as Arsenal host Chelsea.
The Gunners battled their way to a 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge in September and have a good record against the Blues, beating them in last year’s FA Cup final.
However, it is Chelsea who are the form team and they seem to be discovering some of the consistency that appeared so elusive after a difficult summer.
Antonio Conte has even smiled in recent weeks and will feel he owes Arsene Wenger one, having lost this fixture 3-0 last season.
Crucially, Chelsea have had an extra day off to prepare – if you count Saturday’s routine 5-0 win over Stoke as exertion – while the Gunners came through Sunday’s 1-1 at West Brom battered and bruised.
It is likely to be a more open affair than in September and I think an away win at 7/5 is the way to go without complicating things.
There’s also some European action and the Turin derby in the Coppa Italia catches the eye.
Massimiliano Allegri is likely to rotate his Juventus squad while a Torino side without the injured Andrea Belotti appears to lack potency, so I cannot see anything other than the 23/20 on offer for a home win to zero.
