Celtics to hit back on home court

Boston are 2-2 against Cleveland in the NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals but a return to Massachusetts is what they need to get back on track.

Boston 1/1 in the Moneyline

The Celtics took a 2-0 lead to Ohio following a pair of successes at TD Garden but could not live with the resurgent Cavs who recorded a duo of decent wins.

Cleveland won in Boston in the regular season but that was after their opponents had triumphed home and away earlier in the campaign.

At 2-2, the series is brilliantly balanced, meaning a victory here can steal back the momentum in the home side’s favour and the signs are good as they have not lost on their own court since April 8.

Their scoring power is also encouraging, with Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Terry Rozier all averaging double digits while Al Horford has been sharp around the net.

Cleveland themselves are looking good but have been inconsistent on the road and could also be troubled by the fiercely partisan home crowd in Massachusetts.

The Celtics finished Game 4 well and look the bet to go with today as they aim to make it 3-2.
