The Eastern Conference finals have been thrilling to date and Cleveland can level against Boston tonight.
Cleveland 27/4 to win by 7-9 Points
Boston were brilliant on home court on Wednesday, going 3-2 up thanks to a 96-83 win at TD Garden and are now just one win away from a first Finals since 2010.
Rookie Jayson Tatum led the way with 24 points, seven rebounds and four assists and was also a key part of the Celtics defence which again pressed the three-point line to hinder Cleveland’s shooting chances.
The Cavs arrived in Massachusetts with all the momentum after wins of 116-86 and 111-102 but struggled to deal with the intensity of their opponents.
Despite a relatively off night, LeBron James was their top scorer with 26 points and it is his influence that I expect to have the deciding factor tonight.
The 33-year-old is averaging 33.2 points in this season’s play-offs and will be spurred on by the prospect of being one defeat away from losing his streak of seven straight Finals.
With all five games in this series going to the home team, expect more of the same, with Cleveland coming out on top in decent fashion to force a Sunday showdown in Boston.
