Cardiff to strike at home

315

Home form will be the key for Cardiff’s Premier League survival hopes and they can take advantage of Wolves’ woes tonight.

Cardiff to win @ 53/20

The Bluebirds have won two of their last three in the Welsh capital and Neil Warnock will be desperate to celebrate turning 70 this week by extending that record.

Wolves won a dramatic Championship clash 1-0 in April, Cardiff missing two penalties in stoppage time on that occasion, and appeared to have acclimatised to the Premier League with ease.

However, they have not won in their last five and last weekend’s 2-0 defeat to Wolves was arguably their worst performance of the season.

This is unlikely to be a classic and if it turns into a scrappy affair, Cardiff are the team to back.

Eibar to win @ 7/5

The stars of last weekend’s action were undoubtedly Eibar as they stormed past Real Madrid 3-0 and can back it up at Rayo Vallecano.

Los Armeros were sensational against Real and have now taken seven points from the last nine available.

Rayo are winless since September and have conceded 10 times in their last four games, slipping to 19th.

They are usually involved in entertaining affairs, with over 2.5 goals in their last four, and Los Franjirrojos’ defensive deficiencies are likely to cost them dear again.
