Blues to exploit Spurs injury woes

The second Carabao Cup semi-final concludes tonight and Chelsea and Tottenham look hard to split as they aim to book their place in next month’s final, where Manchester City await.

Chelsea to win and both to score @ 12/5

Harry Kane’s penalty made the difference when the pair faced off earlier this month but the England captain’s injury, combined with Son Heung-Min’s international absence and Dele Alli being sidelined means Spurs’ cupboard appears a touch bare.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou may well get a rare outing after showing up well off the bench in Sunday’s 2-1 win at Fulham and with Chelsea seemingly on the back foot, his pace could be crucial.

Blues boss Maurizio Sarri slammed his troops after Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Arsenal but is expected to stick with his preferred shape, meaning Eden Hazard will again start centrally due to new signing Gonzalo Higuain not being registered in time.

Spurs have won both meetings between the teams this season but their lack of bodies means it could be Chelsea’s night.

Real Betis to win @ 41/20

We have more Copa del Rey action tonight and Real Betis can do a job on Espanyol.

The Budgerigars did us a favour on Monday by producing a derisory performance as they lost 3-0 to Eibar.

It is always tough to back up on a Thursday night and Betis are back on track after beating Girona 3-2 on Sunday.

Los Beticos are a good team and should be able to take an advantage back to Andalusia.
