Barca ready for the Reds

Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi

Liverpool trail Barcelona 3-0 in their Champions League semi-final and it is tough to see them turning things around on Tuesday night.

Barcelona to win @ 17/10

The Reds slipped behind Manchester City in the title race on Monday as their rivals edged past Leicester 1-0 at home and their hopes of a championship for 29 years now rest on a shock on Sunday.

Barca have already wrapped up La Liga and remain on course for their third domestic and European treble.

While Liverpool had plenty of the ball in the Nou Camp, the way they counter-attacked suggested Barca were purposely keeping their opposition at arm’s length and striking on the break.

I expect similar on Tuesday night and the class of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho, the latter two both former Anfield heroes, should result in a similar outcome.

Bally Longford to win @ 10/3

Mixed returns have seen Bally Longford given a bit more leeway by the handicapper and he can take advantage today in the 19:20 at Exeter.

In what is a small field, Darcy Ward leads the betting for Jack Barber but this 11-year-old has experience on his side and Colin Tizzard’s yard is in decent form with a 27% strike rate from the last fortnight.

Bally Longford may not have won in his last eight starts but that has seen some of his weight taken off and as we look for a bit of value, he has to be considered to go well in Devon.
