Atalanta’s form has been inconsistent this season but they can make home advantage count tonight against Lazio.
Atalanta to win @ 6/5
La Dea had a mixed start to the campaign but produced arguably their performance of the season in winning 3-1 at Udinese last time out and are set to be boosted by the return of Josip Ilicic.
The Slovenian was sent off in a contentious manner in last month’s defeat at Empoli and will feel he has a point to prove against a Lazio side that have drawn their last four.
Funnily enough, both games between these teams last season finished as score draws but I like the look of Atalanta at the moment and fancy them to take all three points.
Alaves to win @ 37/20
Tonight’s La Liga offering is a Basque derby as Alaves welcome Athletic Bilbao to the Mendizorroza.
El Glorioso made an excellent start to the campaign but have lost their way in recent weeks and are winless in four.
Bilbao have not won any of their last 10 away from home in La Liga but new boss Gaizka Garitano has tasted victory in both of his games since taking charge.
However, Alaves remain unbeaten at home this season and with the atmosphere likely to be red hot, I can see the hosts getting back to winning ways.
